To give online please use the following instructions:
The first time you click on the button to give, it will open up another tab in your browser to a secure page to make your contribution. The page will prompt you to sign in. If you plan to be a repeat giver you should register for an account, similar to registering on any other webpage where you create a login name and password. Be sure to remember this or store it in a secure location so that you can go back to it. However, you can give without registering an account.
On the screen you will see a box with a dropdown menu and the words "Choose a Fund." You may select to give to the various funds then enter the amount you desire to give. Following that you will select how you want to give, either credit card or bank account. Follow the on screen instructions to complete the form.
After entering the credit card or check information, you will be given an option to add a percentage to help cover the costs of processing. This is to keep the church from having to pay the processing costs and is considered another part of your contribution to the church. This will also help defray the costs to the church for providing the online contribution ability.
WHY WE GIVE
Giving is part of spreading the gospel to reach a lost world as well as one of the ways we worship. We give to be obedient to the Word of God and giving is both an Old Testament and New Testament practice.
Malachi 3:10 (KJV) - Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.
Luke 6:38 (KJV)- Give and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into you bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.
2 Corinthians 9:7 (ESV) - Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
